Bar Manager Scott Craven

Craven is a Lancashire lad through and through, but we’ve managed to persuade him to hop over the border to Cumbria and join the team. Scott began his hospitality career at Nigel Howarth’s acclaimed restaurant, Northcote, near Blackburn, where he worked as Bar & Lounge Manager. Prior to that he did a wee bit of travelling and worked in Australia for several years.

There’s no doubt he’s certainly a whizz with a swizzle stick and knows how to create a mean cocktail or two… Scott’s cocktail creations reflect the landscape around us, using an array of freshly foraged and seasonally grown ingredients from our own kitchen garden… one thing is for sure he knows how to extract flavour from the ingredients to hand and use them to fine effect in his creations…

Away from work he likes to hone his cocktail knowledge (yes a bit of a busman’s holiday I know) and when he’s not doing that he takes to the football field playing for a team in the Lancashire league… but we won’t hold that against him…
